Description: The training will overview the capabilities of a solver library and the built-in functions that can be applied to find the solution of real-valued time-domain and frequency-domain acoustics problems. The solver can decompose the problem domain into multiple domain "levels", and guidance will be provided to explain the proper choices of parameters to set up and solve computational acoustics problems on the DSRC resources. Description: Practical electromagnetic problems usually involve complex geometry with many features that are of significant different scale of characteristic dimensions. Conventional conformal numerical methods, although elegant in theoretical settings, fall short to address such challenges satisfactorily. We have been pursuing non-orthodox approach, non-conformal numerical methods, and are able to achieve remarkable progress to date.
