Description: This seminar will go over how to build and run a python environment from a container.

Python environments can be difficult to create and utilize depending on user’s profile and network access. For groups, each individual typically has their own local python environment while using the group python source code. It can be challenging for the group to create identical environments for each individual. Instead of creating individual python environments, a single container with the needed python environment can be used by both the individual and group. Another benefit to a container python environment, the container can also be ported to machines without internet access, such as restricted or classified.
