Description: Users may need to run software provided as compiled applications. They may not have source, the build process may be complex, they may need to ensure repeatability, or they may just want to run standard Linux applications not installed on HPC nodes.

This seminar helps users identify missing dependencies, decide on an approach to meet them, and then implement that approach. Approaches span finding missing libraries, using Singularity, and using Spack to build a missing library. The methods also ease building on one HPC but running on several HPCs. If you ran an application and it complained about a missing shared library (.so) file, this training can help.
