Description: An overview of basic parallel I/O concepts and several methods for achieving high-throughput I/O from simulation code. Methods will include brief introductions to Lustre concepts, MPI-IO concepts and programming, and parallel I/O libraries such as HDF5, netCDF, and ADIOS.
