Description: This seminar provides an overview of the Environment Modules utility and its usage, such as how to search for, load, and unload modules. Following the introduction, we will go over modulefiles, which are the scripts used by Environment Modules to configure the user’s environment, modulefile commands, building a custom environment module, and setting up local repositories for custom environments. Lastly, we will discuss bundling modules into meta-modules to load an entire suite of different applications.
