Description: This seminar will discuss the Nvidia Nsight profilers, which are popular tools for analyzing the performance of GPU applications using CUDA on HPC systems. This will include background on common optimizations used to obtain good performance for GPU codes, tips on installing and accessing these tools on HPCMP systems, guidance on using Nsight Compute to analyze GPU kernels, and guidance on using Nsight Systems to analyze the full system performance of GPU applications.
