Description: This training event will cover Singularity container development using system compilers and a multi-stage build process provided by the new fakeroot feature available on several DSRC systems. Incorporating the system compilers into the container build process provides a portable, optimized solution that supports multiple platforms while leveraging the system MPI and leading commercial compilers and mathematical libraries to run parallel HPC applications. Access to system compilers from within the container is facilitated by built-in module support for loading the required environment variables during the build process.
