Description: The Intel Streaming SIMD Extensions (SSE) are an extension to the x86 architecture that fosters explicit user programming of the SIMD hardware in Intel CPUs. This seminar will introduce these extensions to C and Fortran programmers and explain how to use them to manually optimize compute-intensive portions of their applications.
