Description: SimNet is Nvidia’s recently released framework for solving Physics Informed Machine Learning problems on Nvidia GPUs (https://developer.nvidia.com/simnet). We will give an introduction and overview of SimNet, what kinds of problems it can solve, what features it provides, and finally walkthrough one or more examples demonstrating how to setup, run, and post-process results from simulations on the HPC.

Prerequisites: A basic knowledge of Python programming and using NumPy libraries on the HPCs (See Introduction to Numerical Python (NumPy)). Attendees should have HPC access in order to use GPUs nodes. Knowledge of differential equations will be helpful for the course, but not required.
