Description: This workshop is composed of a series of seminar sessions that will focus on introducing the user to applicable techniques for common image analysis related needs. It will begin with an introductory seminar to the two libraries, and basic operations on arrays, image manipulations and alterations. It will then follow through with an introduction to simplified methodologies for detecting lines, edges, and corners. The last two seminars will focus on utilization of scikit-image modules for filtering images, restoration techniques to improve resolutions, and simplified techniques for segmentation and detection of features and objects.
