Description: Numerical Python (NumPy) is the main package for scientific computing in Python. It is maintained by a large community (www.numpy.org). Effective data-driven science and computation requires understanding how data is stored and manipulated. This seminar outlines and contrasts how arrays of data are handled in the Python language itself, and how NumPy improves on this. In this seminar, an HPC system will be used to access and run a Jupyter notebook to go through the material. Python version 3 is recommended for this training.
