Description: An overview is presented of High Performance Data Analytics, which is essentially the convergence of high performance computing, big data, and analytics. Followed with an introduction to the tool stack, which primarily includes the Anaconda data science platform, in addition to other software deployed on the DSRC machines via Singularity containers, and interfacing the HPC using Jupyter notebooks via a custom developed interface launcher called iLauncher. Then three examples are presented of performing HPDA on the HPCs: (1) development of a rotorcraft virtual sensor using deep learning and genetic algorithms, (2) development of a real-time obstacle detection system for convoys, and (3) development of a distributed inference framework for inferencing data from many drones in real-time on an HPC deployed at the tactical edge.
