Description: This talk covers the use of Resonant for large scale processing problems, with a focus on using the extensible Girder server for data management, access control, and customization for specific domains. It presents two different computational backends that integrate with Girder: Girder-Worker, an ad-hoc asynchronous task and workflow engine with support for Python, Julia, R, PySpark, and Docker containers; and Cumulus, a system for provisioning HPC clusters, and running HPC workflows on top of those clusters.
