Description:  Focuses on transitioning current MATLAB users to Python. Python is an open-source, general-purpose programming language that is used in fields such as scientific computing, enterprise software, web design, etc. It was designed to be easy to use, learn, and understand. MATLAB is a commercial numerical computing environment and programming language. Matlab is not so much a general-purpose programming language, but is designed to specifically for numerical problems. There have been previous courses teaching how to use Python, however there has been much interest in a Python course that specifically focuses on training current MATLAB users on transitioning to Python.
